Artwork & FTP Info
The Art Department is Mac based and uses Adobe Creative Suite Design Standard software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat). The Art Department supports Adobe files on PC platform and some CAD programs, but we cannot guarantee 100% file compatibility until the art is examined.
Artwork received should contain:
- Printer and screen fonts used in the document (outlined fonts are preferred)
- All linked graphics
- Color break information
- An FPO PDF can be helpful for reference
Vector graphics may be submitted in EPS (.eps), Adobe Illustrator native (.ai) or PDF. All bitmapped (raster) graphics should be submitted in 8 bit grayscale or CMYK TIFF (.tif), at a minimum resolution of 200 dots per inch (dpi) at print size. The Art Department accepts JPEG (.jpe, .jpg) files for output with this caution: JPEG encoding can cause unpredictable losses in image quality.
Artwork emailed to T&T Graphics to be output must be emailed to your Customer Service Representative, and
must be identified by company name and a job reference in the subject line. Due to the volume of email we receive, messages that do not conform to this standard may be accidentally deleted or misdirected. Please compress or archive files (.zip, .sea or .sit). If the compressed file is larger than 5MB, please use our FTP site.
